Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
The company is a large company in the food production, with several locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa. The headquarter is located in the Netherlands. The company is currently growing fast.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Operations Director EMEA is responsible for the daily operations for the locations based in Europe, Middle-East & Africa. The company is growing fast and the Operations Director EMEA will be responsible for the strategy and daily operations, with the focus on growing and developing the company.
Concerning the company's strategy, the Operations Director will be a sparring partner to the CEO to develop and implement the company's strategy. The Operations Director will be analysing the demands for products and the daily operations, to decide the strategy with the goal to grow and improve efficiency.
To accomplish growth and efficiency, the Operations Director will be responsible for continuous improvement. Different plants will start with the implementation of lean/continuous improvement and the operations director will take a leading role in the implementation. The Plant Managers will be directly reporting to the Operations Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develop and Implementation of Company's Strategy
-Daily operations of plants EMEA
-Directly reporting to the CEO
-Continuous Improvement, Implementation of Lean
-Analysing product demand, contactperson clients
-Visit plants abroad, mainly located at headquarter
REQUIREMENTS
-Masters degree Engineering
-Master of Business Administration strongly preferred
-Minimum 10 years of experience in an international environment
-Six Sigma Black Belt
-More than 15 years of experience in Operations in the Food Industry
-Dutch & English language
-Strong communication skills
