Great opportunity to develop your career in newly created Operational Accounting department within already established SSC in Kraków that is covering all finance function of the company. This team will be responsible for Operational Accounting processes for the German subsidiary. These covers Period End Close processes, as well as External and Regulatory Reporting (IFRS reporting, FINREP, COREP, etc.).
Operational Accounting Expert will be responsible for reviewing external and regulatory reports prepared by junior staff, overview Balance Sheet reconciliations, review GL posting and prepare complex reports and reconciliations. You would be dedicated to lead new standards/regulations implementation, deliver process improvements and provide support to junior staff on application of accounting principles and regulations.
To be successful on this position you should have a minimum 5 years relevant accounting reporting experience as well as fluency in English and German. As you would be an expert in this field you should have a great understanding of GL systems, reporting software and knowledge of IFRS and IAS. Understanding of German GAAP, and project management experience will be an asset.
