For one of our Clients-American company from the aerospace industry (location: Nowa Wieś Wrocławska), which produces components for the aircraft engines, we are looking for experienced Candidates for the position: NDT level 2 / FPI (level II).
Candidate employed on this position should understand and comprehend the relevant codes, standards and control documents that are used by Company and ensure full compliance at all times. Future FPI (level II) will set up and standardise equipment to process components through the fluorescent dye penetrant process utilising the agreed customer and data card techniques and specifications. Candidate employed on this position will be responsible for interpreting and evaluating the acceptance / rejection of a component and document the results accordingly. Future FPI (level II) will conduct regular system performance checks in accordance with the agreed standards and provide training, coaching and mentoring to Level I personnel. Moreover he/she will investigate and document accordingly any issues or non-compliances that have been found by the Level I personnel. Candidate’s duties will include reading and understanding Engineering drawings, the basic method of manufacture of components and inspection techniques that are primarily used to check the component. Future FPI (level II) will be part of the local team for any NDT Certification audits that occur on site.
An ideal Candidate should has at least Level 1 certification and certification under NAS410, EN 4179 or other NDT qualification program (Ideally Level 2. We are open also for candidates with level 3). Future FPI (level II) should have effective communication skills and ability to interact at all levels. Future FPI (level II) should be flexible and willing to rotate across the business where required. Another important aspects are integrity within the role and in all aspects of working relationships and ability to work as a team and on own initiative. Confidence to challenge incorrect processes, components, behaviours would be appreciated.
