For an investment services international company located in Wroĉaw we are looking for Middle Office Senior Manager. The company has its branches in 36 countries and operates on more than 100 financial markets providing asset management and custodian services to financial institutions, global corporations, banks and individuals.
Your new role
The Senior Middle Office Manager is responsible for leading a staff of 40-60 middle office professionals who perform the middle office administration for a variety of alternative fund structures. Senior Manager will establish himself/herself as the key contact for their clients. This will require regular communication with clients including site visits when appropriate and presenting at client service meetings and client updates. The major objective will be to ensure that each client's needs are adressed in a timely manner consistently. This position is responsible for, ensuring; the accurate and smooth operations of a number of covering back office processes such as trade matching, trade settlement, corporate actions, IPOs, cash management and ensuring all client records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The Senior Manager handles complex issues and enables resolution acting as an escalation point for technical middle office matters. The Senior Manager is responsible for the development and training, of Managers, Supervisors and middle office administrators and building an effective and productive team environment. The Senior Manager is tasked with responsibility for the delivery of ad hoc projects assigned by the Group Manager. The Senior Manager is required to play an active part in the Middle office Operations Management Team, contributing to the overall success of the Department. To this extent the Senior Manager is expected to promote consistency across all product areas, support peers and cross- functional initiatives, share ideas/efficiencies and promote best practices. The Senior Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing system/process improvements designed to reduce risk and promote efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree required. Emphasis in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance preferred.
- 7 years of industry experience with al least 3 years of managerial experience.
- Experience in managing back office production and 3rd party/Outsourced relationships
- In-depth experience with the securities Trade Life Cycle /processing and financial markets.
- Knowledge of investment accounting, performance, reconciliation and reporting systems.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player, with a flexible approach to management and structure
