For our client, an investment company in Wroclaw, we are looking for well-motivated persons to work in international environment. The company is a multinational banking and financial corporation.

Responsibilities:
  • ensure trades executed by clients are captured in a timely and accurate manner
  • matching of trades booked by client against executing brokers trade blotter/ticket
  • transmission of trade files/documentation to prime brokers and/or Fund Accounting & Custodians
  • position reconciliation against prime broker/custodian statements
  • cash reconciliation against prime broker/custodian statements
  • investigation of breaks/fails
  • corporate Action processing and verification (where appropriate)
  • dividend processing and verification (where appropriate)
  • working closely with other team members to ensure day-to-day tasks associated with customer deliverables are performed in a timely and accurate manner
  • ensure compliance with all internal policies, department guidelines, and external regulation

 

Requirements:
  • bachelor’s / master’s degree in a finance/accounting related discipline
  • knowledge how financial instruments works - both listed and unlisted Instrument types include, but are not limited to, equities, options contracts for difference (CFD’s), equity swaps, futures, forward contracts, bonds, interest rate swaps and credit default swaps
  • computer literacy, highly skilled in the use of spreadsheets, word processing packages
  • excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • high degree of accuracy
  • ability to adhere to rigid deadlines
  • previous work experience is not necessary but experience gained in fund accounting, custody, transfer agency or banking operations (confirmations/settlements back office) would be beneficial
