Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Netherlands.
The company is a well-known international organization.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role Regional Medical Liaison (RML) you will represent the medical department of the organization. You'll maximize the value propositions in order to create value for patients through scientific and medical data discussions and projects, expertise and services, with scientific customers within the cardiovascular area.
This role is set up for six months with a realistic and good oppertunity for extension. It is likely that you will get a one year contract after the first six months, so the company is not looking for a person who see this role as a temporary project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represents the Medical Department
- Develops & identifies relationships with current and future cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists (treating dyslipidemia).
- Executes physician engagement plan as developed by the medical advisor in collaboration with the brand team.
- Develops required qualitative and quantitative reports; collates competitor information
- Identifies new research opportunities and proactively shares ideas and insights with medical advisor
- Ensures conduct of work in line with compliance regulations
- Together with other cardiovascular RML’s covers the overall cardiovascular arena for dyslipidemia
- Supports Medical Advisor & Therapeutic Area Head in developing local territory R&D tactics
REQUIREMENTS
- Medical or scientific education or experience from similar positions
- Advanced degree (PhD or MD)
- Excellent communication skills, willingness to share information proactively
- Knowledge of commercialization
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs, drug safety, legal and compliance environment
- Preferable a network of customer contacts in the field of dyslipidemia
- Medical / scientific research experience
