The advertised position is a part of a newly created, global team.


Your next role

The Master Data Governance Process Manager role involves determining the goals of the Master Data processes in partnership with key stakeholders within the Master Data organization and the business to identify areas for data processes performance improvement. We are looking for a person with great interpersonal and communications skills, aptitude for analyzing data and great knowledge of how Master Data and systems are holistically connected.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Leading and executing Master Data process improvement projects, which involves information gathering, running workshops with a broad base of stakeholders, writing‑up reports, running and supervising successful and on-time completion of projects
  • Documenting As-is and To-be Master Data processes by flow-charting, process documentation, SOP and Work Instruction writing
  • Continuously monitoring the performance of Data processes to identify improvement or automation opportunities using analytical methodology and software, in order to continuously improve Data Operations to become leaner and best-in-class

Moreover:
  • Designing and mapping process workflows, preparing and maintaining process and data governance documentation (such as SOP, Work Instructions, Data Standards/Meta Data etc.)
  • Participating and/or coordinating process improvement workshops/Kaizen events in Master Data area
  • Leading Master Data process transitions (organizational centralisation projects)
  • Being the first line of escalation related to Master Data process issues
  • Designing, implementing and improving process performance monitoring solutions
  • Preparing input for weekly Master Data SLA review
  • Cooperating with the MDM Leadership team regarding process performance review, service portfolio update, transition methodology and global projects
  • Supporting and leading the implementation of LSS methodology, such as TIER meetings, Lean thinking, and structured defect resolution approaches within the Master Data organization
  • Conducting trainings on Master Data processes and tools


What you’ll need to succeed

  • Passion for working with people and abstract processes, quality-first approach and strong drive to improve and bring forward new solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite as an essential tool, including advanced XML data analysis capabilities, MS Visio with BPMN 2.0. Any other programming language is a plus.
  • Profound experience in Master Data processes, preferably with SAP products
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification, or comparable qualification – required
  • Proficiency with small-scale Project Management and related methodology; any certification, such as PMI CAPM or Prince2 Foundation - is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, information technology, or statistics highly desirable
  • Excellent command of English language
