An International manufacturing company with a Global footprint, seeking an experienced HR senior manager to step into the role of Managing Director:
Your new company
My client is a privately owned International manufacturing company with a Global footprint. They have a long-term strategy to strengthen operations in Poland and are seeking a new Managing Director who will take full responsibility for implementing and executing this development in Poland.
Your new role
As Managing Director, you will report directly to the Board and have overall strategic, operational and P&L responsibility for production plants in Poland. You will be a crucial member of the leadership team within the business and take full accountability for definition and implementation optimal organizational choices (salary and recruiting policy) in accordance with production requirements . The successful candidate will also manage and motivate employees and ensure the integration and safety of the employees across all sites. You will have full accountability for the results of the sites’ activity and present results to the Board of Directors.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful individual will be an experienced leader with a proven background in driving forward initiatives within a production plant. This individual will be a strong leader with circa 10 years’ with very solid experience in the HR management of industrial sites (labour intensive cost structure). Fluent English language skills are essential. The successful incumbent will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to engage and motivate a workforce, as well as the confidence to challenge the Board of Directors where appropriate. A proven understanding of international reporting lines is also essential.
