Our client is a professional Chemicals organization, based in Brabant Flamand Belgium.
The company is one of the largest players in the chemical-industry with several locations in Europe. The company is currently growing fast and is focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Manager Operational Excellence is responsible for the implementation of Lean-Six Sigma and several improvement projects that come with this position. The company is looking for an experienced people manager, with strong communication skills, who has more than 5 years of experience in operational excellence. You have proven record or coaching and guiding to improve processes.
You are responsible as a change manager for several improvement processes within the organisation.The Manager Operational Excellence is responsible for the improvement of production (maintenance), increasing of quality and optimization of supply chain processes (implementation of OE). The Manager OE has a coordinating role within the organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Implementation Lean (quality, production, maintenance and supply chain)
-Change Management
-Coordination of improvement projects
-Coaching employees
REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum bachelor (master degree preferred) in engineering or similar study is required
-More than 5 years of experience in Operational Excellence within large organisations
-Six Sigma certification required (Black Belt preferred)
-Experience in the Life Sciences, chemicals strongly preferred
-Experience in coaching employees to improve processes
-Strong communication skills: able to communicate to different persons within the organisation
-Strong analytical skills
