Currently we are looking for a consultant who will carry out a project for our Client, an international institution with the financial industry.
Mainframe Analyst COBOL
Workplace: Cracow
Main tasks:
- Analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements
- Produce accurate, clear, commented and efficient program code from a wide range of program specifications
- Amend and produce External and Internal specifications and standard documentation as required at each stage of project lifecycle, including database / application design
- Review test data output for program / system modification accuracy
- Investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions
- Complete projects in a timely manner
- If needed lead a team of 1 - 4 junior programmers or provide technical assistance to other members of the team, whether or not in a formal leadership position
Wymagania
- 4 years’ experience in Mainframe COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2
- University or Technical College graduate (preferable in IT)
- Very good knowledge of French
- Good knowledge of English
