The company has strong market presence in Asia & Pacific and USA and therefore is currently taking a strategic decision to expand the European market with Poland as its operational Hub.
Description
- Lead a greenfield supply chain operation in Europe
- Introduce and manage 3PL's across EU countries to obtain best in class service for competitive rates and set up
- Develop , implement and monitor KPI's and measurement tools to follow up on activities
- Ensure full compliance with all appropriate government agencies including trade regulations
- Cooperate with various departments (Quality; Regulatory; Legal; Finance, IT)
- Challenge status quo and drive continuous improvement of processes and costs
- Find gaps and possible risk, build contingency plans
- Ensure successful go-live European project
Profile
- University degree or technical education in the field of logistics, manufacturing, system management or business education
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Supply Chain Manager in Pharmaceutical or FMCG environment
- Experience in cooperating with 3PL's, contract and SLA's management
- Ability to convey a clear and compelling vision and make the connection between vision and daily work
- Cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence to work successfully across borders
- Hands-on approach and project management orientation
- Fluency in English
