We are looking for a person to hold the position Logistic Order Handlerto global service center in GdaÅ„sk. It’s a global leader in the offshore and marine industry.
New role
As Logistics Order Handler you will be responsible for the order execution of our spare part orders shipped from outsourced warehouses in Germany, Shanghai and Taiwan. You will be a person who will be creating the Transport Order to follow up the transport, issuing all needed transport documents, find best possible solution, sending inquiries to forwarders and to calculating freight charges, as well as warehouse/logistics activities based on SAP process lists. One of the most important task will be creating Picking List and instructing warehouse to use right packing material for chosen transport mode, monitor the inbound deliveries in case of consolidation of stock items with parts purchased to order and choose the right transport mode and forwarder for Air, Road, Parcel Service, Courier, Sea shipments for given destination.
Our requirements
To be the best candidate for this role you will need to have min. 1,5 years of experience connected with similar positions (f.eg. logistics, warehousing, custom brokerage services, transportation). We prefer commercial degree. Good candidate should be team-oriented, communicative, have analytical skills. English on B2 levelis a must.
