You will be a good match if you:
- Have 5+ years of IT experience and 3+ in Linux operations, administration and automation
- Have networking experience with TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, firewalls
- Have Linux scripting and automation experience
- Have familiarity with VMware or other virtualization environment
- Have ability to lead solutions for system architecture, automated build and deployment
- Have good communication skills
- Have knowledge of English allowing for easy day-to-day communication
You get extra points for:
- Experience in Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Kickstarter, etc.
- Familiarity with technologies like Docker
- Experience with virtual environments (VMware and/or others) in terms of building, automating and maintaining
- Knowledge of German
As a part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining company’s products based on Linux
- Providing strategic vision and architecture in engineering solutions
- Monitoring and troubleshooting server/workstations related issues
- Collaboration with Dev Leaders, DevOps and Development teams and users
- Automating server builds/environment setups, automating provisioning Linux Virtual Machine based on VMWare
- Automating security patching and OS upgrades in Linux
