We are currently looking for talented individuals to grow with our team as:
Legal Analyst
Working with Legal team, Legal Analyst delivers a high quality and effective service to the clients, within legal and paralegal projects. In the role you will be consulting on, analysing, categorising or reviewing legal documentation and in-force legislation and supporting measures (including preparing legal tools) based on clients instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing legal documentation (including large-volume international contracts)
- Analysing contracts to develop understanding of the parties’ obligations
- Understanding and implementing legislative requirements into the contracts
- Using and preparing contract management tools (including contract trackers, summaries and obligations matrices)
- Conducting legal and business research
- Following key instructions from the supervising attorneys and clients
- Developing a strong understanding of client brief and case material
- Assisting in achieving the overall objectives of the team
You are a perfect candidate if you:
- Have a legal or paralegal degree
- Have experience of working within a legal environment (considered an asset)
- Have full fluency in English language (knowledge of business and legal terminology considered an asset)
- Have knowledge of/willingness to learn advanced use of Microsoft Office tools
- Have analytical and creative approach to problem solving
- Are able to work under time pressure
- Are detail-oriented
- Are a self-starter with an ability to prioritize tasks
- Are self-disciplined and well-organised
