Main Purpose of the role is to lead the leasing function in the delivery of the Regional leasing & marketing strategy with the aim of maximising occupancy, increasing rental income and strengthening the income quality of the portfolio.
Leasing Manager principal Accountabilities: To formulate a Regional Leasing & Marketing Strategy for all new and existing vacant buildings and manage implementation in conjunction with external agents and marketing team. Create and manage the marketing and leasing budgets, monitoring all expenditure. Establish and maintain a high profile for the company with existing and potential customers, property agents, business groups, trade associations and the public sector via appropriate marketing and relationship building. Identify and secure new customers to vacant properties and let void space whilst protecting value (taking into account quality of the asset, strength of the potential tenant, lease length, rental level v ERV and level of risk). Consult and liaise with asset management, development and finance colleagues on related leasing issues- e.g. cost benefit analysis of undertaking a refurbishment in order to get a property let.
We are looking for candidates with letting experience ideally in industrial, strong negotiation skills, financial rigor and a track record in sound business deals, capability to think laterally and identify trends and industry insights, Ability to open a business dialogue, recognise buying signals and close the deal. Candidates with very good English Language.
