Currently for our client, international production company we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Lean Specialist.
The Person employed on that position will be responsible for leading project teams to improve critical business processes and drive financial results. The Candidate will be reporting to CI Site Leader. His duties are divided into 4 main areas like: Process Improvement & Optimization, Project Management, Strategic Analysis and also Training & Development.
Daily duties will include organising and conducting lean training/workshops throughout the organization to drive cultural change, creating Value Stream Mapping to define “As-Is Analysis” and the transition to the desired Future State Drive improvements via 5S. Work with operations management to compare processes across the organization making recommendations to unify and improve. Besides responsibilities will include monitoring and analysis of current internal logistic processes, deployment of new Production System tools for material management -(Pull System, Safety Stock, Kanban) and also standardisation of processes in the supply chain (external warehouse, local suppliers - milkruns).
The ideal Candidate should have 3 (or more) years of industrial/manufacturing process improvement experience (at least 2 at Lean experience in Implementation of Lean Culture). Besides proven project management and leadership abilities in a team environment. Superior oral & written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the company. We are also looking for Candidate who has very good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The key important will be also to have the knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools (Kanban, milkrun, FIFO, 5S)- proven implementation, experience with preparing and facilitating of KAIZEN EVENTS, knowledge of ERP systems, diligence and commitment, ability to work in a team, good knowledge of English. Knowledge of MTM analysis for logistical processes will be an asset.
