Lean Coach

Main responsibilities:
Participates in the Plant’s direction setting process – customer value / critical success factors / goals, based on his expertise.
Is Co-responsible for increasing the ratio of value to non-value, and eliminating waste in the overall supply chain from start to finish, for a defined product family.
Is instrumental in the definition of the valuestream(s) with the Plant MT and the selection of the processes to make lean.(current state to future state). Leads the implementation of the overall plan and mobilizes business owners to enable the required changes.
Supports definition of goals and targets for improvement teams based on his knowledge of “lean” tools, “lean” measurables and tools for continuous improvement, resulting in dedicated training programs.
Gives internal training on lean behaviour change , team skills , train the trainer. Facilitator on education/mentoring on a pull basis.
Reports to Plant Manager , partipates in “Lean” network, and has a functional line to the Inalfa Lean Champion
Profile:
Has completed Master Degree (Higher Vocational Education – Poly Techn).
Has approximately three years of job experience preferably in a business to business industrial production environment (automotive sector is an asset)
Has more than average knowledge of the English language (speaking and reading).
Excellent oral ability to express and as well in writing reasonably well (is able to concisely formulate complicated issues).
Takes the time and peace to listen to others in order to create trust for change
Has proven experience with project / program management.
Knows how to manage his own agenda. Is systematic, orderly and works well organized. Applies structure, prioritizes, makes use of available time efficiently. Can divide available time into own direct added value, and consultation and communication (meetings).
Senses through their own target orientation, ambition and passion to motivate others to achieve a more than average performance
Is On Time, Meets commitments, responds to correspondence
Develop Tools/ Modify tools, for use in all parts of the business
