We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Lead Software Engineer
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with the PO, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories
- Ensures the level of automation within the team/pod is optimized at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance
- Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the Backlog of change activities
- Accountable for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements and control objectives within the risk and controls framework
- Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the team/ pod activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly
- Responsible for ensuring that all activities performed within the Team/Pod adhere to the relevant data standards and data controls (as defined by the Group Chief Data Officer)
- Accountable to the TPM for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the team /pod
- Support the solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems
Requirements:
- Experience on Java & Spring framework
- Knowledge on API-led connectivity
- Knowledge on micro service architecture
- Knowledge on cloud development
- Experience on Oracle
- Very good analytical skills
- Very good command of English
- Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
- Ability to work with team members in different time zones
- A high level of motivation, quick to learn
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
