Currently, we are looking for a Lead Developer - FE who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers.
Main tasks
- Lead development for large/complex projects to agreed timescales and standards
- Apply in depth technical experience in the development of high quality applications/systems as per the requirement, on time and to Group and local standards
- Design and document systems in accordance with requirements
- Define and govern quality standards. Maintain expert knowledge in required technology area across multiple platforms
- Produce efficient code that is meeting definition of done for business requirements, taking into account technical dependencies and non-functional requirements
- Ensure system supports business needs in terms of design, technical debt is under control and the system can be cost-effectively maintaine
- Conduct unit testing of programs and software applications
- Develop junior staff, contribute on sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement
- Provide estimates for development effort
- Assist and support the implementation of releases, building continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Challenge code, design, implementation to ensure they are of highest quality, in line with industry standards
- Contribute towards establishing levels of automation tests coverage that are required for the project
Requirement
- Working knowledge and application of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap frameworks and an awareness of emerging technologie
- A detailed understanding of web development standards and platform guidelines, including accessibility (WCAG/W3C)
- Innovative approach to solving complex problems with an excelent level of attention to detail
- Very good analytical skills
- Very good command of English
- Ability to work with team members in different timezones
- Team leader experience
- Stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of SharePoint as a development platform would be an asset
