For our client, a large multi-national group, with production sites in several countries throughout Europe, South America and Asia, we are looking for an open-minded and ambitious candidates for the position of Finance Controller for its plant located in Brazil.
Job description:
- Conduct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions (P&L Balance Sheet; Cash Flow estimation)
- Set up and maintain other planning and control procedures, analyze and report variances
- Ensure timely preparation of month/quarter/year end close in accordance to local and group standards
- Identify cost saving opportunities
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
- Oversee daily operations of the production plant
- Drive projects tied to analyzing CapEx initiatives
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Direct financial audits and recommendations for internal control improvements

Requirements:
- Academic background in finance/economics related field
- Very good English is a must
- Minimum 3 years experience in finance including at least 1 year tied to financial controlling and analysis within a production environment;
- Experience in Big4 will be a big plus
- Good accounting knowledge especially tied to costing of production process
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Result - orientated, proactive personality
- Very good English is a must
