- Know, implement and improve established tests for carbohydrates, proteins, glycoconjugates and particle based vaccines
- Supporting equipment selection, purchase and maintenance for the Mass Spectrometry facility
- Design, lead and perform mass spectrometry-based experiments and analyses related to structure elucidation of large molecules
- Execute high-resolution MS experiments and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the instruments
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP and safety
- Support CROs to plan, execute, document and review their work
- Mass Spectrometry specialist
- Minimum 2-5 years' of professional experience (industry setting is preferred)
- Experience with MS of carbohydrates (glycans, glycopeptides, polysaccharides), proteins and glycoconjugates

Role Description
For three major vaccine projects this company is looking for a qualified Post-doc Scientist Analytical Chemistry (Junior) with Mass Spectrometry experience. Performing laboratory work in person and help contract research organizations to plan and execute their assignments.Responsibilities
- Analyzing carbohydrate-, protein-, or glycoconjugate-based antigens- Know, implement and improve established tests for carbohydrates, proteins, glycoconjugates and particle based vaccines
- Supporting equipment selection, purchase and maintenance for the Mass Spectrometry facility
- Design, lead and perform mass spectrometry-based experiments and analyses related to structure elucidation of large molecules
- Execute high-resolution MS experiments and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the instruments
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP and safety
- Support CROs to plan, execute, document and review their work
Requirements
- PhD or Master of Science with equivalent experience- Mass Spectrometry specialist
- Minimum 2-5 years' of professional experience (industry setting is preferred)
- Experience with MS of carbohydrates (glycans, glycopeptides, polysaccharides), proteins and glycoconjugates
Other information
For this position it is necessary to have good knowledge on bacterial polysaccharides and hands-on experience with HPLC and Mass Spectrometry.
