Location: Warszawa
Job type: B2B contract (via HAYS)
Project: An integrator providing solutions for Banks (collections)
Remote work: 1 day per week
English: B2
Rate: 60-80 PLN/h net + VAT

Requirements:

• Min. required 2-year work experience in a similar position
• Defect reporting
• Good understanding of good defect report attributes (steps, reproducibility, ability to collect supplementary evidence, ability to understand exact conditions that leads to defect)
• Ability to navigate through large set of defects to avoid defect duplication
• JIRA (or any other industrial defect tracker)
• Test design:
• Ability to read specifications, write test case sets for functionalities. Ability to identify specification contradictions and omissions, courage to ask questions
• Understanding of very basic test design concepts – equivalence partitioning, corner cases, types of coverage, techniques to reduce number of scenarios
• Understanding of complex workflow-based systems test design
• Understanding of typical messaging formats and it’s problems (XML/REST)
• Understanding of typical network-related scenarios (service disconnect, reconnect, timeout, temporary/permanent loss of QoS)
• Technologies/tech
• Web apps testing – typical checks for web elements, web session testing and data persistence, ability to inspect HTTP headers, ability to use MITM proxies in rare cases
• Messaging/screenless flows – XML/REST, (robust) messaging bus concepts understanding
• Ability to analyze complex logs manually and with parsers, so good to have regular expressions understanding
• Database – SQL requests, including joins. Ability to configure and troubleshoot database connectivity/clients
• Automation
• Selenium (as typical tool used in organization)
• JMeter (as typical tool used in organization)
• …but any good base knowledge of automation and automation tooling is okay
