Our client is a professional FMCG organization, based in Waals-Brabant Belgium.
The company is a leading manufacturer of consumer products that are sold in many places such as in, the grocery store, drugstore, electro specialist, perfumery and at the hairdresser. The company works hard to help make the lives of consumers more pleasant for now and in the future.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a new manager within the Operations department in market planning. You will be responsible for our products and their supply to the customers. This includes managing the supply chain for new product initiatives and forecasting promotions for one or more of our brands. You will be a key player within a business team, and different internal departments who will look to you for shelf availability, inventory management and demand forecast accuracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be a key player within a business team, and different internal departments who will look to you for shelf availability, inventory management and demand forecast accuracy.
- Be responsible for forecasting including the sales and financial predictions
- Actively participate in setting up KPI’s
- Manage information flows and stake holder relations
- Partner with other departments (Marketing, sales, operations, finance) on the implementation of different projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably a Master's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Experience in a similar role or a demand and supply planning role.
- Experience in the leadership of at least two people
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
- Experience within the Food or FMCG industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
