For our Client, a Swedish company from the medical industry opening a new SSC in Warsaw, we are seeking Candidates for the role of GL ACCOUNTANT.
GL ACCOUNTANT will be responsible for the complete general ledger operations: preparing journal entries, reconciling the financial accounts and intercompany balances, supporting monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes, maintaining fixed assets register and monthly processing of depreciation, assisting in preparation of VAT and INTRASTAT reporting, maintaining, monitoring and reporting of the working capital, preparing various analysis, assisting with implementation and maintaining of the internal financial controls and procedures, and assisting audit processes.
We are looking for candidates with approximately 1 - 2 years of relevant experience, gained preferably in an international SSC environment, able to demonstrate knowledge of the VAT system and familiar with MS Office Suite. Fluency in English is mandatory, as well as experience in working with an integrated finance software package or ERP system.
