Currently, we are looking for candidates to join a new Finance HUB located in Krakow on a position of:
Junior Finance Specialist - General Ledger
Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries for GL-Accounting and Fixed Assets
• Support period closing
• Support Cost Accounting and Intercompany Accounting
• Perform GAAP-reconciliations
• Responsible for the consistent and ongoing adherence to guidelines and internal controls
• Investigate processing errors in respective area of responsibility
• Report operational issues (process or system related) to specialist and execute resolution process
• Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement
• Deliver customer service in line with agreed procedures
Skills & Experience
• 1-2 years of experience in the relevant process area
• Understanding of Accounting controls
• Native, bilingual or at least C1 level of English and Polish
• Very good (B2) Slovak, Hungarian or German will be beneficial
• Numerical, analytical and problem identification skills
• Ability to prioritize and schedule workload in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Excellent communication skills; “can-do” attitude
• Academic degree
• Excellent user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good knowledge of SAP ERP
• US-GAAP and/or European local GAAP experience a plus
