The position is based in Kraków, Poland
Job Description
- Contributing to definition of requirements and designing of applications
- Contributing to to database adn data model design.
- Developing the functionality of applications while considering standardization, common components, simplicity, performance, robustness and other attributes
- Testing of all functionalities
- Providing support for business areas
Qualifications
- Strong experience in core Java
- Experience with Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) or JEE platform (CDI, JPA, EJB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
- Strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
- Knowledge of SOLID principles in practice
- Ability to write simple to moderate complexity SQL queries
- Experience with ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate, OpenJPA)
- Experience with WebServices (SOAP, REST)
- Fluent English
Additional Information
Nice to have:
- Experience with IBM WebSphere products (WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Liberty Profile)
- Experience with test frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Mockito
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium/WebDriver, Fitnesse, Jbehave)
- Experience with automated build platforms/continuous integration (Jenkins, Hudson, maven, gradle)
- Experience with message queue brokers (WebSphere MQ, Oracle AQ)
- Prior experience with Tomcat
- Experience with databases (Oracle, DB2)
