The employee will be a part of the “WNS Global Services” IT team located in Gdynia office. The main role is to provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other tech tools and products.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the Desktop builds, standard image and software installations as per the compliance requirement by the respective support and licensing teams.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and ticket resolution for the office employees.
- Maintain and control the IT asset management processes.
- Follow the Change Request and Incident Management process.
- Provide IT support during the Project transition, migrations and new roll outs.
- Plan and document roll-out activities, procedures, and policies for repeatable practices.
- Act as primary liaison between the IT functional teams and the operations teams.
- 1st level support for Telephony, Video conferencing and Network problems.
- Tracking/Executing/Reporting changes for IT related hardware and software.
- Responsible for ensuring Infosec compliance and BCM initiatives at the location.
Overall knowledge includes but not limited to:
- Desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile phones
- Has overall knowledge of all current site-licensed software including (but not limited to):
- Windows Operating Systems – Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
- Microsoft Applications – MS Office Suites
- McAfee Anti-Virus
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Network Technology – Understanding LAN topology, protocols, routers, hubs & switches
- VMware
- System Center Configuration Manager
