Your new role
The Technical Support position supports all technology, both internal and provided to external customers including, but not limited to; software and hardware setup, configuration, troubleshooting and training.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide support for employees and effectively communicate the actions required to resolve issues. Including supporting end users by phone, email, support sessions, face-to-face, and via the service desk.
- Actively monitor ServiceDesk queues, take ownership of requests that are within duties and skillset.
- Assist employees with their software support needs, including but not limited to, Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Citrix, JDE, SAP, FileBound, AnyDoc, mobile device applications, and other business software.
- Create support documentation to be used within the department and general documentation to provide instructional information. Maintain documentation as appropriate and as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
- Assist with replacement and repairs of computer equipment, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities, where appropriate to role, through careful evaluation of successes and correction of failures, to ensure quality of the end-user deliverables
- Escalate issues in a timely manner if problems are not resolved.
What we are looking for in you:
- Excellent command of English language
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Education within field of IT (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or equivalent experience
- Database and Microsoft certificates are plus
- Strong attention to details and analytical mind
