On behalf of our Client, the global company located in the city center, to the internal IT department, we are currently looking for: Service Desk Specialist

On this position main responsibilities include:
  • support the business located globally
  • provide high level of customer service to the business
  • resolving 1st and 2nd line break-fix support via desk side visits or remote control
  • managing the IT equipment on site, including making available equipment for new starters, dealing with departmental moves and liaising with third parties. incidents and ticket management
  • routine maintenance and administration for all services
  • liaising with technical and business teams

Requirements:
  • at least 1 year experience in support
  • excellent knowledge of IT literacy especially within a Microsoft environment e.g. Windows 7, Office 2010, XP, Outlook, Exchange, Active Directory
  • knowledge of support packages including Service Management Tools such as Hornbill SupportWorks, Remote access tools such as Remote Assistance and RDP
  • positive and effective approach to problem solving
  • good team player skills
  • due to working in an international environment very good English (written and spoken) is a must
