For our Client, international company located in Katowice, we are currently looking for a person interested in the position of IT Solution Architect who will join global IT team.
Your new role
As the Solution Architect you will be responsible for the development of solutions for new and existing projects. You will play key role within the IT organization, collaborating on innovative ideas and using proven approaches to deliver a winning solution design. In order to define and explicit the requirements of the solution, you will directly cooperate with the business representatives and/or business relationship managers. You will perform Solution Design activity, delivering a valid and viable architecture as well as overseeing overall success of the solution design and cost development. You will participate in the design review process and support the Enterprise Architecture Management process. Moreover, you will interact with both infrastructure and development to reach optimal solution based on company’s standards and practices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful Candidate you must have min. 2-3 years of previous experience as Solutions Architect/ Infrastructure Architect or equivalent. You must have strong experience in solution design principles, practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles with experience in a combination of system and application architectures. Also, you need to have big picture thinking and ability to see how parts interact with the whole. Moreover, you must understand infrastructure in general and hold experience in Microsoft Windows Server technologies, virtualization platforms including VMware. Knowledge of Cloud Computing (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) would be a big plus. Due to work in international environment you must have fluent knowledge of English.
