To achieve our ambitious growth goals, we are currently looking for an IT Requirements and IT Portfolio Manager with an additional focus on IT project management and/or business analysis to support our IT Portfolio Management department.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
As an IT Requirements and Portfolio Manager, you are the decisive link, interfacing between business and IT. You will work closely with the Head of IT Requirements and IT Portfolio Management, the Business Demand Managers and the IT Business Relationship Managers. Depending on your background, you will focus on at least two of the following areas.
IT Requirements and IT Portfolio Management:
▪ Control of the entire IT portfolio as well as the overall IT budget and IT resource planning
▪ Design of processes, tools and standards in IT requirements and IT portfolio management
▪ Act as a multiplier for the introduction and sustainable implementation in the relevant business and IT units
Business Analysis:
▪ Consult and support the business units in analysing and structuring their IT requirements and transferring them into actionable requirements and concepts as input for the IT implementation
▪ Consult and support the preparation of business cases and project proposals,specifically with regards to the planning of IT-relevant milestones and activities as well as internal and external IT resources and budgets
▪ Carry out preliminary studies, prepare concepts and cost estimates for complex IT requirements and larger projects, capitalising on the knowledge gathered from different IT departments
IT Project Management:
▪ Manage larger IT projects, steering and coordinating the representatives from different internal IT delivery units
▪ When necessary, take over the selection, commissioning and management of external service providers
▪ Support the entire project life cycle from order clarification to deployment, including ongoing IT budget and resource planning and control
▪ Be the primary point of contact for the project sponsor and project manager from the business side
What you offer:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following qualities:
▪ Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business Administration or related subject or comparable education;
▪ Several years of professional experience in IT requirements and portfolio management, IT project management and/or business analysis;
▪ Excellent analytical, organisational, planning skills, and proven project management skills;
▪ A proven track record of initiative, goal orientation and assertiveness, coupled with the ability to maintain an overview in a complex environment ;
▪ Outstanding interpersonal skills to network, work in a team and communicate with business and IT representatives at all levels within the hierarchy;
▪ Experience and understanding of the processes and IT systems in the fund industry would be a plus;
▪ Fluency in English, German language skills would be an advantage.
