IT PMO Project Manager

Miejsce pracy: Łódź

In this role you will:

  • Be involved in formulating the overall project assignment, having the assignment and plan approved by management, in consultation with the relevant functions and other stakeholders/parties involved, based on the requirements and business case.
  • Ensure the requirements and business case are defined, completed and approved in line with the overall End-2-End and IT guidelines and policies.
  • build and maintain your project team, choose the way of working and select the adequate tools define the risks of the project, e.g. specifications, costs, planning and develop scenarios to overcome these risks.
  • direct employees and give them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally
  • be responsible for implementation and realization according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organization.
  • deploy process improvements and make the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes.
  • manage internal stakeholders to assure project success.
  • ensure that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge.

We are looking for:

  • Native or fluent in English
  • Academic (working) degree in IT, Economics, or Engineering is highly prefered PMI certification is beneficial
  • 5+ years of experience in multinational company
  • Experience with leading global IT projects and managing virtual teams
  • Multi-year experience in managing projects in a complex environment
  • Ability to liaise in and through many layers in the own organization as well as to other areas
  • Change management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid communication skills and ability to build network within the organization
  • Ability to engage people, including top management
  • Drive for result, self-starter, hands-on mentality
