We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
IT PMO Manager
Location: Kraków
Programme Management Office (PMO) Jobs will be located in projects of a variety of sizes, which are single or multiple work stream, have country or global dimension, and be of both narrow and broad scope. The principal accountability of PMO jobs is to support the Programme Management Office in carrying out project monitoring, governance and reporting activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Portfolio Financial Management – forecast management, variance reporting (actuals v forecast)
Portfolio Resource planning
Integrated Portfolio Planning - project plan roll ups, milestone exception reporting
Risk and issue monitoring and co-ordination
Coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting
Co-ordination of project governance arrangements
Manage the collection, collation and processing of project information from stakeholders
Assist with the implementation of project standards across projects
Quality verification and assurance across all project controls (Plans, RAIDs, CRs)
Managing and updating project documentation, process documents and information sources
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, along with relevant project & agile qualifications preferable
4 or more years' experience
Experience in portfolio finance management with underlying complex cost structure
Experience in resource demand management and end to end tracking of the onboarding & offboarding
Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practice techniques including agile
Excellent technical expertise in Microsoft Office – Excel (pivot table expertise, vlookups, formulas), PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
Experience with project and portfolio management tools i.e. Jira, Clarity, MS Project, Open Workbench
Ability to organize and structure – projects, processes, and communications
Experience with collaboration platforms i.e. Confluence, SLACK, Jabber, MS Sharepoint
Ability to establish and leverage cross functional relationships to help drive project governance, execution and closure
Ability to work in a virtual team environment across geographic boundaries and cultures
Superior analytical skills including the ability to synthesize results and connect key points across topics
Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
Experience of collating presentations from disparate sources and creating a working presentation eg for Steering Committees, Working Groups, adhoc requests
Self-starter/Independent thinker – ability to work independently, progress work, and bring it to the collaborative table
Self-starting, independent, and willing to take on a wide variety of work
Experience in delivering key project management office services: Planning and Plan Management, Tracking and Reporting, Risk and Issues Management, Project/Programme Governance
Experience as lead role in matrix organization would be an adventage
Attention to detail
Experience of working in a fast paced environment would be beneficial
