Operational Technology Engineer
Location: SkawinaFor our Client – global production company based in Skawina, due to the fact of intensive development, we are looking for an experienced people for the position of Operational Technology Engineer.
The main responsibilities of role will be:
- Daily ticket operation including escalation if necessary
- Makes suggestions for improvements to the OT Design (HW & SW)
- Trains IT people and users on specific OT application and systems, sharing best practice
- Involved in all IT projects where OT is touched, working as IT representative in project preparation phase with business
- Assists business with technical issues related to OT
What we are looking for:
- Good overview of OT systems
- Overall knowledge of SCADA systems & PLC & historians
- Experience in PLC or SCADA programming
- Experience with industrial platforms from SIEMENS, AB, Wonderware or others
- Ability to bring solutions to complex business problems
- Good communication skills
- English on very good communication level
