IT Business Analyst

Miejsce pracy: Kraków

Responsibilities:

Add value to the business and enable the business management team to make informed choices about their investments in IT.

Proactively assist Relationship Management and their business partners.

Drive a high performance culture through strong leadership and effective people management

Assign responsibilities to direct reports/project team members, providing them with the direction and confidence to deliver results

Ensure project management processes are effective and propose improvements/changes as required

Compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal control standards and group compliance policy

Timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators

Management and control of projects to meet exacting timescales necessary in a competitive market place.

Co-ordination of premises, people, training, systems and equipment in liaison with line management.

Recovering own costs to add value to the business in all aspects of the work.

The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring. Also by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department.

The jobholder will be required to manage one or more small projects that have some degree of complexity whilst being reasonably straightforward to deliver.

 

Requirements:

Structured Project Methodology;

Appropriate leadership courses associated with business analysis or consultancy;

Regional/local IT and business strategy;

Internal Consulting methods;

Project Management best practice.

Have an good knowledge of the project lifecycle;

Understands the global strategies of IT and the Group and collaborates with the business at a global level to accomplish these strategies;

Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of business;

Excellent planning and organisation skills;

Self motivation and initiative;

Find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution;

Strong leadership and management ability, motivating IT employees;

Proven ability to prioritise competing demands;

Demonstrated ability to assess IT trends;

Good understanding of how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer;

A good level of analysis experience and knowledge of structured techniques and Group standards;

Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders;

Good knowledge of project management and staff management;

A wide knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks.
