Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Operations Manager

Location: Gorzów Wielkopolski

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for detail-oriented Candidates for the role of:

Position: Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Operations Manager

Location: Województwo Zachodniopomorskie (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the site-based Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards and actively promote a positive Health and Safety culture on-site
  • Monitor KPIs regarding accuracy and integrity of Quality and Inventory transactions
  • Provide feedback to Operations when needed
  • Review and analyze customer defect data, while developing corresponding action plans to reduce and eliminate causes of any issues
  • Develop and execute action plans for increasing quality, inventory accuracy and service satisfaction
  • Partner with Management in the communication of Inventory Control and Quality Assurance policies and procedures
  • Proactively audit and check team efficiency
  • Carry out various supervisory responsibilities in accordance with internal procedures and standards

Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience within logistics or distribution (field of supply chain) or similar background
  • A degree in logistics or science would be an additional asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate team employees
  • Excellent knowledge of English (in both spoken and written)
  • Strong technical and IT skills
  • An understanding of Lean and Six Sigma techniques  / or similar would be a plus
  • Very good time management and organizational skills
