THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

This client is a meat giant, but the internal organization is focussed on personal development. All positions follow an internal growth tract, where training is key and support is given to maximize personal and professional results. There are trainings on the product portfolio, ensuring you're closely acquainted with the many offered products, as well as on the market and the production processes.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As international sales manager, you are responsible for the sales in a geographic area of your choosing. You set the sales targets and formulate plans to match them. As such, the job is as challenging as you want it to be and the sky is the limit. A large part of the role consists of client contact, so you manage portfolios and remain representative for the company. There is room for personal development so ambition, curiosity and an international mindset are valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting targets for the geographic region
• Translating client needs to tailor made solutions
• Improving customer relations
• Cooperation with local account managers and agents to hit the targets
• Cooperation with the product developers and technologists
• Management of the lead portfolio
• Travel (50%) and international fairs are a must
• Participation in internal trainings

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor level minimum, in Food Technology or similar
• Minimum of five years experience in B2B sales, preferably technical sales
• Experience within the food industry
• Experience with complex projects and processes
• Curious personality, internationally oriented and willing to travel
