ROLE DESCRIPTION
Within the Supply Chain department, Product Management is responsible for assessing & integrating new business opportunities, successfully launching new products, ensuring their availability, and optimizing the supply chain performance throughout the product life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execution of Key Tasks within Master Production Scheduling, Detailed Scheduling, Material Requirements or Master Data Management
- The Position is key function in the Global Planning Organization of LM API and as such ensuring timely delivery of our medicines to our patients at optimized costs.
- You will support the timely release of intermediates and API, based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Distribution Plan.
- The Function will support reporting of key metrics including Plan Attainment, Schedule Attainment, On-Time Shipments, Inventory, etc.
- Improvement projects
- Schedule and co-ordinate primary and supporting production planning activities to prioritize and ensure timely release of intermediates and API based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Distribution Plan.
- Analyze demand / supply alerts.
- Develop, maintain and publish information on asset / product specific supply chain management metrics & KPI’s.
- Assess respective supply impact for assigned assets / products in conjunction with product End to End Planning Leads for proposed manufacturing / regulatory changes and provide feedback to change sponsor / owner.
- Support development and implementation of an Advanced Planning System and Processes.
- Development and maintenance of policies and procedures for the Production Planning area.
- Contribute to site management operational and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP’s, and Training & Business Compliance policies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Preferably an APICS degree
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Min. 3 years of experience within several parts of Supply Chain Planning
- Good knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
