THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
For multiple clients in the Food/FMCG industry (region Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland, Utrecht and Noord-Brabant) I am currently looking for Interim Procurement Managers (Indirect Spend). The companies are fast-growing and international organizations in the Netherlands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Interim Procurement Manager you will be responsible for managing the buying team for indirect procurement of services and supplies needed to support the operations as well as the overall procurement process. The candidate we seek will be able to independently evaluate and research alternatives, form conclusions and make recommendations based on a sound business case and facts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead procurement process and procurement team
- Defines procurement needs and build the portfolio of procurement projects to be delivered by order of priority
- Prepare business case decisions
- Implementation of local supplier contracts
- Develop sourcing strategy for indirect procurement of services and supplies to support the operations
- Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers
- Carry out relationship management, analyze risks and focus on process improvement
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed academic degree (minimum is a bachelor) in the field of business administration or equivalent
- Relevant work experience in (indirect) procurement in the Life Sciences industry (experience in the Food/FMCG industry is a pre)
- Fluency in the English and Dutch language is a must
- Strong negotiation skills
