Our client is a professional Chemicals organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
The company has plants all over the world and had more than 35.000 employees in service. Their main focus is on the chemical industry, but they also play a big role in the energy and oil & gas industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Interim Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will be working in a team of multidisciplinary engineers and your primary responsibility is to determine the scope of equipment requirements for different projects. Other tasks are basic mechanical engineering and reviewing conceptual designs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will provide material and equipment selection concerning work preparation.
- You’ll attend meeting with suppliers and review documents and drawings of suppliers.
- You will plan and document engineering work execution.
- You will take part in testing and inspections of machines and installations at the plant.
- Regarding engineering tasks and progress, you will report to the lead engineer.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc Mechanical Engineering or related
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Work experience in the chemical industry
- Dutch/English communication
