Industry Specialist, Metals ( Central Europe)
Together with the Global Key Account Manager this position has the responsibility to grow the business with existing customers on the actual market but also to expand the network with more customers from new segments (such as Steel Mills, Service Centers, Steel Distribution)

For our client , an international manufacturer of steel and plastic strapping systems for Metals Industry, we are looking for experienced Industry Specialist ( Central Europe).
Description
- Development of Metals Industry (Steel Mills, Service Centers, Glass Industry)
- Market penetration in assigned region
- Achieve budget for allocated accounts
- Manage regional/ national accounts in the region in cooperation with area sales
- Develop high level of application know - how for Steel packaging Implementation of industry plans for targeted industries in the regions in coordination with product management and area sales
- Mapping of industry in the region and share with area sales
- Training of area sales/ other industry specialists in the region in steel strapping application know - how and new product launches, distributor training if needed
- Support sales team in the region in sales calls
- Identify industry needs and application trends in the region and support product management in defining new product and services
- Monitor market pricing of steel strap and equipment in the region
Profile
- Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business related field
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in B2B sales and Key Account Management
- Steel industry application know how
- Sound Knowledge of regional/national steel industry (Steel Mills, Service centers, Steel Distribution )
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to effectively engage in new and/or unexpected challenges/tasks
- Demonstrated team player
- Strong communication skills used in negotiations and in technical presentations
- Proficiency in use of technology tools such as e-mail and data analysis
- Solid customer relationship skills to be able to manage accounts
- Very good knowledge (spoken and written) of English
