For our Client, a dynamically growing international company, we are looking for candidates on an Indirect Tax Expert position. It is a completely new role that has arisen due to the new process transition.
Indirect Tax ExpertMiejsce pracy: Łodź
Responsibilities:
Focusing on designated countries and being accountable for Indirect Tax coordination and compliance within organization
Indirect Tax activities required by corporate directives and policies
Supervision and support of the employees of External Service Provider in the area of VAT
Ongoing cooperation with the Head of Indirect Tax EMEA and Country Chief
Accountant in terms of preparing documentation for tax audits
Cooperation with external and internal counter parties within VAT function
Executing Internal Controls over Indirect Tax process
Monitor the performance of external service provided guides and takes corrective actions
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of of progressive work experience in managing VAT compliance on a country level
Knowledge of international tax
Fluency in English language (both written and spoken)
SAP knowledge (FI, CO module) will be an additional value
IFRS knowledge will be an asset;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective in influencing and collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines and cultures
