For our Client – international company from retail and service industry- we are looking for candidates for the position of an Independent Accountant in Poznań.
Person employed will be responsible for keeping a medium-sized Polish company’s books while supervising the work of Junior Accountant and reporting directly to the CFO and the Main Accountant. Responsibilities of an Independent Accountant include, among others: accounting financial documents, reporting to the Tax Office, the Central Statistical Office and the National Bank of Poland, preparation of VAT returns, settlements and analysis of accounts, making payments and keeping records of fixed assets.
To participate in the recruitment process we invite Candidates with at least several years of experience in working on a similar position, having very good practical knowledge of the Act on accounting and tax provisions. We also expect knowledge of financial and accounting programs as well as proficiency in MS Excel. In view of frequent contact with a foreign Office, candidate’s knowledge of the English language should be mastered on a fluent level. Furthermore person employed on this position should have good manners, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well strong organizational and planning skills. Accuracy, conscientiousness and reliability are also welcome.
