One of the projects we lead at the moment for creators of software dedicated to small business is recruitment process for the position of Independent Accountant.
The company is looking for a person who has a strong drive to take on challenges, grow as a professional and be a part of high performance finance and operations team to contribute to the success of our fast growing company. On this position you will be responsible for general bookkeeping of invoices and payroll in NetSuite Journal entries posting, preparing month end accounts reconciliation and balance verification, working closely with a third-party accounting company on balance reconciliation between American and Polish books and collaborating with accounting team in the US, tax and legal advisors. Another responsibilities will be paying vendors timely, preparing various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures as needed but also identifying and executing on the implementation of accounting related process improvements, automation and system upgrades.
From the candidates they expect Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent degree, minimum 2 years of recent relevant financial experience and experience with international accounting. As a perfect candidate you also need to have strong proficiency in Excel, ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and excellent oral and written communication skills, both English and Polish. The company appreciate candidates who are highly focused, organized and detail oriented and motivated, self-directed and proactive. Technology company and startup experience, knowledge of NetSuite or experience working in a company with Headquarters in the US will be advantages.
