Your new role
The HR Specialist who will ensure customer-focused HR service delivery excellence across the entire employee lifecycle, applying exceptional process to enable effective and cost efficient HR service delivery.

The HR Specialist will also contribute to HR project delivery to support the delivery of the HR strategy and HR Programmes for Ricoh Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
• Ensures customer focused HR service excellence across the entire employee lifecycle (new starters through to leavers processes).
• Delivers HR support to help the organisation meet its objectives.
• Resolves issues promptly and in line with service level agreements and standards.
• Communicates internally set quality standards to achieve satisfactory quality and consistency in all HR administration, advice, support, service delivery and project deliverables.
• Develops, maintains, and continuously improves core HR processes where possible.
• Drives operational excellence, including the use of six sigma or other approaches across HR Operations cyclical activities.

Employee Relations
• Provides first line advisory support and guidance on HR issues to employees and managers on HR • policies and processes.
• Supports the implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure understanding within the organisation.
• Provides operational support for project initiatives as appropriate.

Continuous Improvement
• Ensures compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures and adapts approaches as required to maintain compliance.
• Applies continuous improvement in all aspects of operational HR and shares practices with HR colleagues.
• Continuously seeks further efficiencies and improvements in how HR services are provided to managers and employees.

Organisational DevelopmentM
• Supports the implementation of interventions, programmes and plans (with direction from the HR Manager) so that HR systems and administration processes are followed effectively and in a timely manner.
Employee Engagement
• Supports the development of local team plans for engagement initiatives and ensures momentum of these initiatives to reach desired results.

What you'll need to succeed
• High professional standards for customer service and work quality
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to liaise effectively with the Payroll Service Centre, ensuring that all employee lifecycle changes are processed correctly and in a timely manner each month
• Ability to work with tact, diplomacy and a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to take ownership and follow through on tasks and activities
• Proven administrative experience within an HR environment
• Customer focused, a “can-do” attitude, independent and proactive
• Ability to take ownership and follow through on tasks and activities
• Good organisation, planning, proritisation and time management skills
• Team player and willingness to collaborate and share best practice
• Proven experience in using HR systems / databases
