HR Specialist / Compensation Specialist

Location: Wrocław

An employee in this position will be responsible for deploying the operational aspects of IBM employee compensation programs such as executing Comp cycles and programs, implementing design changes, delivering off cycle salary increases, answering employee/mgrs questions and work in close collaboration with HR partners and other IBM functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, employee communications, and financial reporting related to compensation programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes and/or supports Compensation Programmes,
  • Collaborates with Compensation Design team in development of new/revised compensation programs which includes facts finding, data analysis, planning and deployment.
  • Support HR Partners and Managers on programs implementation
  • Provide advice to HR partners on individual situations
  • Keeps abreast of any local legislative or tax changes impacting compensation programs.
  • Provide local market intelligence on compensation and salary posture.
  • Assist local team on banding, compensation remixes, retention programs.
  • Co-ordinates and executes programme related communications, educates HR Partners, Managers and HR Service Centre on compensation policy, including approval processes.
  • Keeps process documentation up to date, performs controls and testing per separation of duties matrix and reports findings as required.
  • Participate in benefits audits
  • Help Compensation local negotiations where needed
  • Comp support to restructuring initiatives and case management
  • Local expert of HR systems able to run standard reports and ad hoc queries to satisfy local needs (Finance accruals…)

Requirements:

  • Experience in Human Resources Department – minimum 2 years,
  • Working knowledge of local legal regulations and practices,
  • Ability to absorb professional knowledge quickly and develop skills,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment,
  • Excellent documentation and follow up skills,
  • Experience working in international companies preferred,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel),
  • Attention to details.

  • Master's/High School Degree
  • English: Fluent
  • Polish: Fluent
