HR Business Partner

Location: Kraków

This position will provide HR leadership and overall delivery for an assigned group of managers within a defined Geography (Poland). Responsible for providing business partner consulting and functional expertise in all aspects of Human Resources as required to support business operations.

Key Duties:

Business Partnership:

  • Implements business planning, strategic and change management initiatives.
  • Supports pursuit of business development/growth opportunities through the participation in proposal development and associated negotiations.
  • Provides HR advice and expertise to business leaders.
  • Provides to line leadership the coaching and guidance necessary to develop excellent people management and supervisor responsibilities.
  • Progresses the HR value proposition as an informed business partner and by advocating and assisting to drive business objectives.
  • Provides guidance in interpreting and applying compliance, regulations, policy, procedures and employment law & contractual obligations.
  • Provides input for the development and utilization of HR metrics, data, work processes, systems and tools to effectively manage the business operations.
  • Develops and supports an effective communication strategy.

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Plays a significant role in attracting, developing and partnering with industry talent for key leadership positions.
  • Support and advise in local recruitment, leaders support in interviewing and hiring activities ensuring compliance with required applicant tracking requires.
  • Facilitates effective labor management practices.
  • Manages staff reduction processes.

Talent, Performance and Employee Relations Management:

  • Provides leadership and direction for talent management programs to ensure consistent use of corporate programs:

- Individual Development Plan process.

- Succession planning process.

- Performance Evaluation process.

- Training and Development strategies.

- Employee discipline, and general performance improvement strategies.

- Termination management.

- EEOC, or equivalent, harassment and other investigations as required.

Labor Relations (LR):

  • Monitors potential labor relations issues amongst assigned employee populations.
  • Ensures compliance with Enterprise Labor Relations policies.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive and diverse HR Generalist experience.
  • Very good knowledge of labor law, government acts.
  • Interests in people training and development.
  • Knowledge of engineering consulting/EPC and/or heavy industry lines of business.
  • Professional HR certification (SPHR, GPHR, PHR).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate globally.
  • International project experience a plus.
