HR Business Partner - New Distribution Center
As a HR Business Partner you create an optimal working environment for the colleagues (permanent and flex) in DC in Katowice area. In this position you are part of the Operational Management team of DC, which consists of a Site Manager, 3 Operational Managers (Inbound, Warehouse and Transport) and a Process Manager.
Client Details
Our client is an international organization, a leader in the retail market that has decided to build a distribution center in Katowice area. In connection with this investment, she is building a team and therefore needs the First Person of an HR Business Partner position.
Description
- Act as first point of contact concerning all HR related issues
- Advise employees and managers in the DC (in cooperation with Learning & Development, Absenteeism, Recruitment and Compensation & Benefits) in all areas of HR
- Advise line management on the adopted HR policy and the application of laws and regulations
- Coach and develop the colleagues in scope and provide support in both tactical and operational HR issues
- Monitor proper implementation of HR policies in accordance with laws and regulations
- Identify and transform the business needs and developments into action points and goals for HR
- Actively contribute to the optimization of personnel planning
- Lead and contribute to the recruitment and selection process by conducting qualitative interviews, selecting candidates, and monitoring progress within the agreed timetable
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and coordination of HR related Supply Chain projects and ensure the proper introduction and implementation of changes within the organization
- Initiate and write HR project plan (recruitment - onboarding) for the start-up phase of this new DC and report frequently on the progress compared to the agreed timelines
- Embed HR policies and systems and adjust where required to make it compliant to local rules and regulations.
Profile
- Undergraduate bachelor's level position - preferably with a degree in the field of Human
- Resource Management
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Supply chain/ Logistics is a must
- Minimum of 5 years of working in an international organisation
- Excellent command of the Polish and English languages, both verbal and written;
- Flexible and willingness to travel (in possession of driving license B);
- Is highly organized, knows how to structure work and projects, meets all agreements within
- deadlines and according to guidelines;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
