THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
This company supplies food products and services to the whole world. The focus of this company is to produce ingredients for food taking into account the environment. In addition, they also process, distribute and trade different agricultural products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This company is quickly growing and therefore in need of a SHE Manager. The task of the SHE manager is to lead the health and safety standards with knowledge in the food industry. You will be responsible for the budget to run and implementing safety norms in the organization. This to assure continuous improvement in the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Having already extensive experience in the food industry regarding QHSE you will be responsible for managing the audits, safety processes and risk management.
The major tasks that you will be responsible for are:
- Manage the team, procedures, training, audits/inspections and other parts related to SHE.
- Proactively identify, plan and develop solutions to EH&S issues
- Establish long term goals
- Improve awareness in the company about SHE
- Report to the director
REQUIREMENTS
- >10 years of experience, in which at least 5 years in EHS on site
- MSc in science or engineering in the food industry
- Risk and progress management experience in food industry
- Knowledge of OHSAS 18001, ISO14001
