THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
An internationally active company in the production of various crops. With its own breeding and distribution programs, our client is looking for someone to take on the responsibilities of multiple R&D locations.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Within this role you will be responsible for multiple R&D stations, thus recent travelling is required. Guiding these stations to reach set goals by overall company and delivering qualitative results through technological and operational advancements.
You will be part of the MT of the international group meaning a lot of strategising and having people as head of stations directly reporting to you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translating the strategy of the company into viable goals for all stations under your responsibility;
- Offering various stations the possibility to implement technological advancements;
- Juggling internal programs and making the decision to outsource work, while keeping in mind the core business and optimal results.
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in a plant sciences related field and a respectable number of years of experience in the industry;
- Management experience and experience in communications across various departments within one company;
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to speak multiple languages.
